It is our intimate relationship with the presence of Christ and the Holy Spirit in us that ultimately wins our hearts. We are in Christ, we are dead to sin and alive to righteousness, and it the enemy knows this and will try every distraction to captivate our minds and make us worship false God’s. God’s love deposited and planted in our hearts, is His passion to make his delight in us become our reality.
The battle is spiritual not physical. It is not over a nation or a piece of land, it is over a relationship and a love affair. For what we love we will worship. And what we worship will have authority over us.
The battle of the two Kingdoms is a battle for the intimacy of our heart. It is a battle for the thoughts and affection of our mind. It is a battle to captivate our passion and to control our desire. For what we delight in will become our God.
Truth triumphs over lies. Jesus is truth, absolute truth, and his presence in you is the truth that no lies can now penetrate your heart. The enemy is constantly lying to us, and we don’t have to listen and receive those lies. We are Joint-heirs with Christ, children of the almighty God. Greater is He that lives in us than the enemy that would lie to us.
The free gift of Righteousness given to you in Christ is the power to reject every accusation of guilt and condemnation. God sees you innocent and therefore no accusation can stand against you.
God loves you with an everlasting love and His desire is that you know and experience that you are the delight of His heart. He has drawn you into Him, into an intimate relationship, you are never disconnected from God and in the secret place of His intimacy, all intimidation from the enemy is forgotten and dispelled. Your lover has romanced your heart and you are now one with Christ.
The Peace of God is your security, it is your inner barometer. God’s peace is your weapon over anxiety. God’s perfect peace is in you and works through you. God holds you, you are filled with the peace of God.
God is love and in Him there is no fear. God is always good and we live in the inheritance of the cross. God’s love has been placed into our hearts and we are eternally connected to the love of God.
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” – Proverbs 18:10
In Christ you have been made righteous and you have come into the strong tower of Christ. You are held and kept in the refuge and security of Christ. You are protected and you are in an unassailable position. For you are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
