Jesus is holiness and you are now in Him. He is 100% holy and you now are 100% in Christ. You are holy because Christ is holy. You are holy because you are in Him – You are connected into Christ and he has promised to never leave you or forsake you, and he is faithful to his promise to you.
Holiness is not about what you do or what you have to change. It is not a standard that measures the amount of sin you do or don’t do. It is not behavior modification.
Religion has made sin the focus for holiness. Holiness has nothing to do with sinning or not sinning. Sin is not unholiness, it is a BYPRODUCT of unholiness. Sin is our unbelief in all Christ has won for us.
The finished work of the cross is the cause of your holiness. Not your works, not your effort or performance. Jesus’s finished work was complete and because he was holy, you to are now made holy in Christ.
“throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.” – Ephesians 4 : 22-24. You have been made a new creation in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit has united you into God, and he has made Christ complete in you. You are connected into heaven and you have been made righteous and holy in Christ. You did not do this, the Holy Spirit did it in you. You died to your old sin nature and you were raised into a new creation in Christ. The old died, you are new. As Christ is so now are you.
Christ has won the victory over death and evil. We now rule and reign with Christ. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus
ll authority has now been given to us; prayer is aligning our hearts to this truth. To establishing Kingdom authority here on Earth.
We are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We are Princes, Sons of God, and we now bring in the righteousness of God. We are ministers of reconciliation, declaring that God is not counting men’s sins against them.
Christ in us, is the government of peace in our lives. Peace reigns in our hearts, and prayer is bringing this government of peace in all we do. We bring Gods peace into our lives, our communities, and our world.
