God is love and in Him there is no fear. God is always good and we live in the inheritance of the cross. God’s love has been placed into our hearts and we are eternally connected to the love of God.
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.” – Proverbs 18:10
In Christ you have been made righteous and you have come into the strong tower of Christ. You are held and kept in the refuge and security of Christ. You are protected and you are in an unassailable position. For you are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
It is important to RECEIVE the truth. It is not by effort or performance that we get truth, but by receiving it and therefore believing it. God in Christ has made it all available to us, he has placed the same power that raised Christ from the dead into us. We have the same faith of Christ living is us, therefore all we do is respond to the Holy Spirit working in us by receiving the truth.
Renew your mind to the truth you are in Christ, and declare over yourself the truth of your New Creation life. You are Holy and Righteous in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:23), As Christ is so now are you (1 John 4:17). Let your thoughts be renewed to the truth of your new life, that you have died to sin and you are righteous in Christ. (Romans 12:2).
It is important is see yourself in your New life in Christ. For As Christ is so now are you.
You are not in Adam but you are In Christ. You are not merely human you are now connected to heaven, you are in Christ and the Holy Spirit lives in you.
The key is living in the Spirit is knowing we have been crucified with Christ. Sin only has a hold on us if we still see ourselves as alive to our Adamic nature and life. Paul encourages us to “but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.” – This is a matter of identity, about knowing our new position in Christ. If you have died with Christ in the flesh, you have now been raised with him in the spirit. Now in the Kingdom of God you are seated at the right hand of the Father and you are a joint heir with Christ. In the Kingdom of the world, you are a victim of circumstances and fate is your master.
The peace of God that is now been birthed into our hearts is our weapon against the bombardment of the enemy. Satan tries to rob us of our peace and replace it with turmoil and distraction. He tries to focus our attention on the battle and draw us away from our victory in Christ.
To know and experience the finished work of Christ is the rest of God which is our weapon. Resting in the victory of Jesus is a weapon in our warfare.
