We are in a battle that is already won. We are in a battle that already has had its outcome. That we are now seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The enemy wants to de-throne us, to take from us the victory that Jesus won for us and replace it with the defeat that he suffered.
There are two kingdoms, the Kingdom of Darkness and the Kingdom of Light. We are surrounded by difficult issues and situations. The enemy bombards us with false reports and lies. He is the master of unbelief. He tells us that everything is impossible. He whispers in our ear “Has God said?” He tries to make us look at the world through bitter eyes. He tries to tell us that we are defeated when the truth is that he is defeated. He tries to replace the truth with doubt. Satan tries to make us doubt the goodness of God.
You are made with the most intricate detail, everything about you is now exactly as Christ. Christ is now complete in you.
Everything about salvation is that you can recover your true identity in Christ. That Christ can work in and through you and that you can live in and experience the glory of God. You are been re-born into the innocence of God and you are now a New Creation full of the life and power of Christ.
Each of us is created and made in the image of God. We have a unique place in the world and a unique place in the purposes of God. You were created to do only what you can do through Christ.
We should be confident in the overcoming power of God – Because Christ lives in us we have the resurrection power of Christ living in us. We have been raised with Christ and we are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Our confidence is that God lives in us through Christ and we know that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Touching people with the love, purity and hope of Christ – We are the hands of Christ, we are Christ to this world. When we are in Him, we touch the world with the love of God, we give the world the purity of God and we bring to everyone the hope of God.
“because as he is, so are we in this world.” – 1 John 4:17 – In everything we do, how we think, and do, our role is to show people Christ and this is natural because Christ lives in us and we live in him. It is NOT a “DO”, but a “BE”. We are united with Christ, we part of his body and as He is so now are we.
Innocence is always under attack – We are in a battle for our mind and our thoughts and this battle is to rob us of our innocence. – “ whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” – Philippians 4:8
