Your forgiveness was finished at the cross. Jesus Christ was crushed for all your sins, you were forgiven once and for all, by his once and for all sacrifice. And this salvation that was purchased at the cross, includes your healing. The cross was a completed work of wholeness and restoration. God in Christ has already healed you of all your diseases, afflictions and pains at the cross. Just believe that he has accomplished it all for you and receive it in your soul and body. Renew your mind to the truth of all Christ has provided for you by grace and let it overflow in your life.
Jesus Christ was the glory of God revealed to us, he was heaven alive on earth. No one that came to him was rejected, cast away, or abandoned. If ever you wanted to know what God thinks of sickness and healing just take a look at Jesus. He received all those that came to him sick and sent them away healed. The blind, lame, mute, deaf and mentally oppressed were all healed. He was willing to heal everyone and by his death on the cross he provided the healing for every generation. Your healing has been provided in Jesus Christ, believe his finished work and receive his power in your soul and body today.
God’s desire is that you live in the fullness of all he has provided. Jesus demonstrated this in the most practical way possible, he healed all that came to him. Jesus was full of healing power, compassion and forgiveness. Grace flowed from him to all; he was the physical declaration of the favourable year of the Lord. You are now that declaration of God’s favour, Christ is alive in you, let him work through you and let your life be a declaration of the power of God.
The finished work of Christ at the cross is the starting point of history. It is the starting point for all the plans and purposes of God and God’s will for us is to live in and experience his victory at the cross. The greatest pleasure God has is when we feast on the finished work of Christ. For we are the breath and life of Christ in the bitter waters of the world. We are the flowing, healing stream of refreshing water cascading over the bitter deluge of pain. Christ in us, is the hope of glory to a broken and lost world.
God has placed his incorruptible word into the good soil of your heart, so you can be rooted and grounded in the truth of his abundant life. His word contains the fullness of his promises alive in you. His promise is to heal you, fulfil you, restore you and prosper you. Don’t base what you believe on the experiences of others or on past disappointments, but let the power and abundance of God’s word captivate your soul and set your thoughts on all Christ has deposited in you by his grace. Let Christ cultivate his tree of life in the garden of your heart.
You are the child of God he always wanted. Before the foundations of the world God set his heart towards you, he planned out his purposes for you. Plans that only you could fulfil, for you are the unique, precious child of God’s love. And God has showered you with all good gifts through Christ Jesus. Today, have a confident expectation of God’s goodness given to you. Reach out and receive the grace of God provided for you. For God’s desire is that you enjoy all the best things in life and these have been given to you through the finished work of Christ.
Christ’s life within you is the power to refresh, revitalise, rejuvenate and restore you. The strength of Christ flows through your veins and his joy flows inside your heart. You can access his reservoir of grace every moment of the day, because he is constantly working to build you up, affirming his love to you. Don’t hesitate to draw on the grace of God; don’t hesitate to draw on his power, his life, and his sustaining love. You have been blessed with every spiritual blessing. Let the truth of his word overwhelm your soul.
You are the desire and delight of God; he loves you with an everlasting, unconditional love. He has promised to do good to you all the days of your life. He will never be angry with you; He will never punish you, for all judgement and punishment was taken by Jesus at the cross. God is not mad at you! God only has plans to prosper you, to shower you with all good things. Today, see everything you are and everything you have as complete in Christ and celebrate his life and power overflowing in your life.
The question that is often asked is “How do I recognise that voice of God? What does it sound like?”
Now that is as not as strange as you first may think. Often emotions , feelings, thoughts and inclinations are constantly bombarding our minds and the noise of life drowns out the voice of God. It is hard to distinguish what is God and what is not.
Added to this many other voices come with conflicting information. Ideas, philosophies, theologies and perspectives that have been cultivated in personal experience and historical beliefs. You might think this is not possible, but even Jesus was faced with the same situation. When asked by the religious leaders of the time what were the requirements to live forever. He said them, “You know the Law, how do you read it?” For Jesus knew that it is in our heart of our core beliefs that we hear and inteprate the voice of God.
For our innermost heart is our core belief system. It is our sub-consious deep rooted brielfs that we build our lives and thoughts on. It is where our spirit, soul and body meet. Our heart is the garden of our all we value and treasure. And it is in the heart we cultivate our beliefs to filter and inteprate the Holy Spirit.
So what does the voice of the Holy Spirit sound like, it sounds exactly the same as the fruit it produces. For the root of the tree produces the fruit of branches. Therefore we can know and recognise the voice of God because he speaks to us in and through the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. There is no law against these things.” – Galatians 5: 22-23.
These fruits are alive in are alive in our new creation spirit and it is with these fruits that God speaks into our core belief system (our hearts).
And this means that we can recognise the voice of God because when God speaks to us:-
1. He is faithful to His word.
2. His voice produces peace and not confusion.
3. His voice and leading will bring freedom not bondage.
4. God is patient, not impulsive or hasty.
5. His voice will always leave us with hope, not discouragement or oppression.
6. His voice instils confidence, not fear or intimidation.
7. His voice makes us know our identity in Him, rather than pride.
8. His voice is full of love, not our selfishness.
