Living Grace

Christ in me, the hope of glory

Christ Raises Our Head.

“The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous” – Psalm 146:8

You are loved.

God loves you with an everlasting love.

God sees you righteous in Christ, he sees you in his son, he sees you healed, holy, perfect forever. For In Christ we have been given the free gift of righteousness, and that means a vibrant, unhindered, perfect fellowship and union with God. A heart that is no longer guilty, condemned, feeling shameful or tormented with doubt, but is secure in God’s love, is peaceful and is in harmony with the presence of God.

When those thoughts of rejection and feelings of being bowed down arise in our souls, remember that these are lies. The enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. His tactics are always the same, make you feel separated; feel alone, unvalued and unworthy.

The life of Christ in your spirit and the power of the Holy Spirit in your soul are the manifestation of the power of God to raise you up and see yourself seated in heavenly places in Christ.

Let Christ lift your head, raise your eyes and look into the glory of God, look into the eyes of Jesus and delight in his finished work.

Encourage Each Other

“She looks well to the ways of her household…..her children rise up and bless her, her husband also” – Proverbs  31:27-28.

God loves families; we were never designed and created to be alone. He created in us emotions and desires to give and receive love, to connect and uphold each other.

God’s desire within us is expressed in our love and encouragement of each other. To build each other up, serve each other, to support, to think of others before ourselves.

To share God’s heart is to see Christ in each other and build each other up into the fullness of Christ.

Jesus Christ has torn down the way of separation that existed in our minds and has united us to the Father. Likewise, he also has torn down the wall between Jew and Gentile so that everyone can receive the fullness of the Kingdom.

We are united with Christ into God and into each other. We are living stones in the living, breathing temple of God.

How we look after each other is a demonstration of the love of God and the reconciliation of all things in Christ.

Therefore, encourage each other, help each other, serve each other and let God who is alive inside you demonstrate his love through your love for each other.

God’s Plans for You.

“For I know the plans I have for you…..plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Sometimes it can seem that things are just not working out. Our expectations don’t match the reality of life. It can even feel like that God does not care, that God is not interested in our struggles, our circumstances.

God understands the depths of our souls; he knew exactly the thoughts and feelings of Israel as they faced captivity and exile, so he used the prophet Jeremiah to reaffirm his love, mercy and compassion to his children.

God’s word is the reassurance of his commitment to them. His word is an anchor of hope to their souls and that their future is one of prosperity not one of despair.

The future day they were encouraged to look towards is the day of Christ. For it was in Jesus Christ that the plans and purposes of God were fulfilled.

Everything we need has been provided for us in the finished work of Christ. Our hearts have been filled with the hope of eternity and the assurance of a future secure in our Father’s arms.

God in Christ, is working out our destiny and has worked out our glorification, the power of the Holy Spirit alive in our hearts is our assurance of his everlasting embrace.

We can now live assured that He will never leave us, never forsake us and will work in us to transform us from one degree of glory to another.

Treasures of Wisdom and Knowledge

In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” – Colossians 2:3

The world is consumed with discovering and reporting the truth. Media outlets bombard us with the up-to-date latest developments; lives are captivated with every sudden trend and innovation. And all this information is provided to enhance our involvement with the larger world and our fellow man.

However, we mustn’t let the smoke screen of the media distract us from the discovery of the real truth. For The Truth is found in the person and words of Jesus Christ.

Every word spoken or written about Christ is a fountain of life to our souls.

Christ’s words contain the power of the Almighty God, the wisdom and knowledge of the infinite, eternal, boundless God. They are seeds provided by God to be planted into the good soil of our hearts, to produce a harvest of love, mercy and compassion.

In Christ we have the power of God alive inside our hearts, his fullness is living within us, and his words alive in us become the manifestation of the truth and the realisation of all we have in Christ.

Be memorized with the person and glory of Christ alive and working in you. Be consumed with discovering the real truth, the truth of all God has provided for you by his grace.

The Rock of God’s Love.

“Hatred stirs up strife but love covers all transgression”– Proverbs 10:12

God’s love stands firm against all the storms of life, it is a constant affirmation of the Father’s passion for his children.

It is a love embraced before time, given in time and thriving beyond time.

It is the love that stays until the very end and accomplishes all that it was planned and purposed to do.

For the love of God, given to us in Christ, bears all things, hopes all things, protects, trusts, is patient, is kind and it will never fail.

This love accepts us as we are, believes in our value, cares for us even when we do not care for ourselves, desires only the best for us, desires to do us good and has forgiven and erased all our sins.

For God’s love is tough love, it is robust love; it is ravished love that consumes our transgressions, makes us new and works in and through us.

Whilst all around us is shifting sand, changing ideas, doubt, unbelief, God’s love is a sure foundation, a rock of assurance, it is his eternal commitment and passion for you and me.

Impressions for 2017

Dear All

Over the past few weeks I have had certain impressions that have reoccurred to me regarding 2017. These impressions have kept coming back to me through various sources so I thought I would post them as a way of encouragement

God has opened and not shut – In Christ we have a constant open door into the power and manifestation of the grace of God. But sometimes we can feel that doors we are coming up against are closed or are difficult to open. The impression I feel is that there is coming a new experience of opening doors, things that have caused obstruction will be removed and we will experience a reality of doors and things being open to us. Our confident expectation of 2017 is that Christ has opened doors for us and these will never be shut.

No More Feelings of Abandonment – I get the impression that there are some Christians that are walking through life with a sense that God has abandoned them, that they are isolated and have been left alone. I believe that this is a lie from the enemy, for God has NEVER abandoned his children. I think that there is coming a release of the loving embrace of the Father’s love and commitment on his children and for those that feel a sense of abandonment they will start to experience the loving embrace of the Father. You were NEVER abandoned by God; feelings of abandonment are a lie and you will start to know the love and commitment of God.

You are where you settle – The last impression I get is that God is encouraging you to pick up your tent, enlarge your vision and settle for nothing less that the full manifestation of the power, glory and grace of God in your life. God is encouraging you not to settle for the normal, but to experience all he has provided for you by his grace. He is encouraging you to find your satisfaction in Christ. You have a choice to settle where you are, or to make the resurrection power of Christ an even deeper and greater reality in your life.

I hope these impressions encourage you, remember you are blessed with every spiritual blessing, you are seated in heavenly paces in Christ and the infinite power and glory of the Almighty God is living inside you.

This new year expect doors to be opened for you, cast off any sense of abandonment and don’t settle for anything less than the full power of Christ to be manifested in every area of your life.

Advent Promise – The Promise of To Sing!

“Sing, O barren one, you who did not bear; break forth into singing and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child! For the [spiritual] children of the desolate one will be more than the children of the married wife, says the Lord”. – Isaiah 54:1

The promise of Christ is the release of thanksgiving, the celebration of heaven, the joyous freedom to sing!

The Angels sang praises in a Judea sky, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom He is well pleased.” Their song was a heralding of the passion and desire of God.

The song of heaven is the anthem of reconciliation, the hymn of Gods favour.

The New Covenant is the Covenant of God’s unconditional grace, it is the eternal season of God’s perpetual favour. No longer do we have to search, pray, seek and wait for favour from God, for God’s favour now resides inside each believer.

Emmanuel, God with us, is the song of our hearts, the words of thanksgiving from our lips, we are the chosen delight of our father.

The child born in Bethlehem is the eternal song of love, the heart of divine delight and the glorious symphony of heaven.

God’s song alive in your heart is heaven’s joy singing through your life.

To everyone a Merry Christmas, a joyous and prosperous New Year, and let the song of heaven sing in your heart.

Advent Promise – The Promise of Love, Kindness, Peace, Completeness and Compassion.

“For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.” – Isaiah 54:10

This remarkable verse is the promise of the reign of the coming King. The establishment of a Kingdom Covenant that would surpass creation and time.

The apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans declared exactly the same message when he wrote, “I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present or the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

It is an unconditional covenant, a covenant founded and kept by the finished work of Christ.  A covenant birthed by the desire and passion of God. A covenant created before the foundations of the world and ignited by the Cross.

For in Jesus Christ is the fullness of God and all God’s love, kindness, peace, completeness and compassion is in Christ.

The promise of the King is now the Kingdom alive inside you. For all God is and all Christ is, is contained in the Kingdom Covenant alive in you.

The unconditional declaration of Christ over you is that He is the eternal promise of God, given to release you into the fullness of God. God’s gift, freely given and all you do is receive him and live in its fullness.

Advent Promise  – The Promise of A Redeemer

“For your Maker is your Husband—the Lord of hosts is His name—and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth He is called.” – Isaiah 54:5

The promise of God here is magnified in His commitment to deliver his people from their captivity, the promise of a kinsman to free us from the shadow of death and transfer us into the fullness of the Kingdom.

The slavery of the consequences of sin are so deeply embedded in our world that we cannot escape its invading influence in our thinking and emotions. It slowly seeps away our trust and delight in pleasing our Father, but Christ is our redeemer.

Jesus Christ purchased for us an eternal redemption. His blood poured out for us cleanses our conscience from all condemnation, all guilt, all shame and all feelings of separation.

Redemption means deliverance form all captivity and entry into the unfading glory of God.

Jesus Christ entered the world to bring you into the glory presence of God, to release you from the prison of guilt and fee you from the dudgeon of condemnation.

The baby born in a manger, to a teenage girl was the promised redeemer, the sacrifice given for you to deliver you from all your captivity.
