I believe that God is giving us dreams and visions in our sleep, but more importantly is healing us whilst we sleep. I think that the Holy Spirit actively heals our emotions and our thought processes as we sleep.
That is why the enemy comes to disrupt and destroy our sleep. Not being able to sleep soundly at night is a weapon of the enemy to stop the Holy Spirit working in our mind and emotions and it comes against the healing power of Christ alive in our bodies.
So today, agree with me that from this moment on that sleep will be a rejuvenation of all Christ accomplished at the cross.
Do not accept sleeplessness or sleepless nights as normal, or just part of life. They are a weapon of the enemy and this weapon has been defeated at the cross and you are guaranteed good, sleep filled nights in Christ.
Go to bed at night expecting a good nights sleep and the Holy Spirit to work in you, healing and setting you free.
God wants you restored and whole in Christ.
This word below posted on facebook by Lana Vawser is very significant and important to get a grip of.
GOD IS DOING SO MUCH WHILE YOU SLEEP… OVERNIGHT MIRACLES!!! By Lana Vawser
I had a dream a few weeks ago and the Lord spoke to me that sleep is KEY right now! Since that dream I have seen sensing the Lord is doing a deep work in the hearts, souls and minds of His people as they sleep. He is reaching the deepest depths of hearts and souls with His love and bringing deep refreshing, healing and restoration. Many deep roots that have plagued, tormented and caused God’s people pain and anguish will be removed by His love as they go to bed at night and sleep!
I had a vision where I saw Jesus working on the minds of His people like a brain surgeon while they were sleeping. He was removing trauma, healing past memories, and the Word of God that had been stored into their hearts and used to renew their minds during the day, I saw the Lord breathing upon as they slept and it brought freedom, clarity and mental ease and peace, rather than torment. Many were going to bed one night sick, waking up the next morning – HEALED! MIRACLES ARE HAPPENING IN THE NIGHT!!!!
As the Lord was doing the deep works in the depths of His people as they slept, I saw chains breaking through the night. When they awoke in the morning, they felt so free, such joy, a great shift had taken place that filled them with the sense that “something changed overnight”.
This is the season where things are LITERALLY CHANGING OVERNIGHT! Things you have been contending for and contending for to see them shift and break open, will be released OVERNIGHT! God is releasing OVERNIGHT MIRACLES!
Everywhere I have been ministering lately, the Lord has had me call out sleep issues, insomnia, night terrors, sleep apnea… anything attacking the sleep of His people and God has been bringing healing and deliverance. The Lord is breaking the chains that have stolen sleep and in its place there is and will continue to be an increase of prophetic dreams.
Prophetic dreams are going to continue to increase in this season in ways we have never seen. The Lord is and will continue to heal, deliver, restore and renew His people in significant ways as they sleep. Things that have held His people for decades; will suddenly be broken.
God is doing more while you sleep than you realise. Clarity, insight, direction and breakthrough is being released especially through prophetic dreams.
I prophesy over you today that some HUGE breakthroughs are happening and will continue to manifest in your life AS YOU SLEEP! I decree all sleep issues and anything attacking your sleep is being broken off and healed in Jesus name. I declare over you that God is doing MORE in you and for you than you realise, while you sleep. I decree an INCREASE of prophetic dreams and awareness of what Jesus is doing in and for you while you sleep in Jesus name. I decree over you a season of OVERNIGHT MIRACLES in Jesus name!!!!
I encourage you, get an early night
Chains
The chains that held you back have been broken.
Today, this impression of chains broken, smashed and released kept coming back to me. I kept seeing links in chains open and clasps prized open, with links set free. Jesus has released you from all oppression and captivity at the cross. He defeated worry, fear, depression, sickness, illness and every form of brokenness. You have been set free, live in freedom, do not let the lies of captivity take root and grow in your mind. Weed out negativity; you have been set free in Christ. You have the risen Christ living inside your heart, live in the full power of Christ and take authority over every lie and thought that would cause you to worry, doubt or fear.
Dear All
Over the past few weeks I have had certain impressions that have reoccurred to me regarding 2017. These impressions have kept coming back to me through various sources so I thought I would post them as a way of encouragement
God has opened and not shut – In Christ we have a constant open door into the power and manifestation of the grace of God. But sometimes we can feel that doors we are coming up against are closed or are difficult to open. The impression I feel is that there is coming a new experience of opening doors, things that have caused obstruction will be removed and we will experience a reality of doors and things being open to us. Our confident expectation of 2017 is that Christ has opened doors for us and these will never be shut.
No More Feelings of Abandonment – I get the impression that there are some Christians that are walking through life with a sense that God has abandoned them, that they are isolated and have been left alone. I believe that this is a lie from the enemy, for God has NEVER abandoned his children. I think that there is coming a release of the loving embrace of the Father’s love and commitment on his children and for those that feel a sense of abandonment they will start to experience the loving embrace of the Father. You were NEVER abandoned by God; feelings of abandonment are a lie and you will start to know the love and commitment of God.
You are where you settle – The last impression I get is that God is encouraging you to pick up your tent, enlarge your vision and settle for nothing less that the full manifestation of the power, glory and grace of God in your life. God is encouraging you not to settle for the normal, but to experience all he has provided for you by his grace. He is encouraging you to find your satisfaction in Christ. You have a choice to settle where you are, or to make the resurrection power of Christ an even deeper and greater reality in your life.
I hope these impressions encourage you, remember you are blessed with every spiritual blessing, you are seated in heavenly paces in Christ and the infinite power and glory of the Almighty God is living inside you.
This new year expect doors to be opened for you, cast off any sense of abandonment and don’t settle for anything less than the full power of Christ to be manifested in every area of your life.
“The people of Israel will be a raging fire, and Edom a field of dry stubble. The descendants of Joseph will be a flame roaring across the field, devouring everything. There will be no survivors in Edom. I, the Lord, have spoken!” – Obadiah 18
Imagine that you are a raging fire consuming a dry stubble land void of moisture. You need to burn everything. If you falter, if you cease, the monsoon rain may suddenly appear and all your brilliance will fade into the dust. If, however, your passion ignites the desert, everything will be cleansed, purged in the molten glory of your flames.
God is that consuming fire, God is full of holy passion, and God is a cleansing flame.
His raging fire destroys all the residue of the world and sin that stains your mind and emotion. His holy passion ignites your new creation life into a furnace of his power. His cleansing flame purifies you from every effect of evil and cremates the sin that reminds you of your dead nature.
You make decisions every day that influence your future. These may occur in the most mundane of circumstances, but they give you the opportunity to let the fire and passion of God burn within you or let the floods of the world stifle the fire of God.
The way to stay in the tangible presence of God is to burn with his love and to dive into the furnace of his finished work. For it is in the heat of the fire that Christ appears and his glory protects, leads, holds, sustains and saves you.
You cannot control the raging fire, you cannot contain the heat of the furnace, you let it consume everything the world would want you to value and destroy everything that would diminish the work of Christ.
For as the fire of God burns within your heart, your thoughts are renewed, your hope is complete and the glory of God shines through your life, as you let the finished work of the cross consume you.
“But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.” – Psalm 92:12
God created you to flourish – and ransomed you to set you free to flourish – so you could be a living, vibrant, remarkable shining light in a world of blindness and darkness.
All creation is waiting for the sons and daughters of the Father of creation to display their glorious, wonderful, beautiful, pure new creation life.
Christ’s wonderful sacrifice at the cross made it possible for the living powerful, resurrected Spirit of Christ to dwell inside us. The passion of His heart is to see everything in creation flourish in new creation life birthed within each redeemed heart.
King David expressed it well when he wrote from the overflow of his heart in Psalm 92 – “But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.”
As the Psalmist sings in this verse about the abundant strength and magnificence, he paints a picture of fruitfulness, uprightness, steadfastness, health and longevity.
The significance of the Palm Tree lies in the fact that a palm has only one, above ground growing point. This is located at the top of its trunk, and if this terminal bud is injured, the palm often dies. This deep rooted tree is able to withstand the most violent storms and blossom, bud and produce fruit all the year in the most arid of deserts. We are being reminded in this beautiful, creative picture of all God has made available and provided for us, and what will inevitably take place when we are rooted and established in him.
We can flourish in him because our new creation life inside us is rooted in the finished work of Christ. Christ now is our one and only growing point, and because He won the victory over death in His resurrection, we will never stop growing and blossoming into all He dreams for us.
When God wanted to grip the hearts of the Children of Israel, He gave them a portrait of his overwhelming love and goodness. He wanted to change how they thought and felt and lived, he wanted to captivate their entire individual existence with the wonder and majesty of his passionate love for them. He wanted them to believe in Him and all he could accomplish for them. Their liberation from Egypt into the glorious freedom of the Promised Land, a land so lavishly abundant he described it as overflowing with “milk and honey”, was a journey of discovery into the grip of His grace.
Palm trees flourish by the grace of God, and from the dates of the tree, dark brown syrup is harvested that is rich and sweet. It was this preserved syrup that was also referred to the “honey” of the Promised Land. God’s promise of honey was open for all to see in the comprehensive blessing of every Palm Tree established throughout the land. When hearts started to question, just looking and focusing on a flourishing tree reminded every soul that God is faithful and is to be trusted.
The vastness of God’s love is contained in His promises and sometimes it feels like these are beyond our human understanding and experience. But they are all there, they are all ours, they have all been showered upon us in Christ and God wants us to encounter him, be immersed in him, be filled with the abundance of him and like Palm Trees in the desert, be rooted and flourish.
“But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree—some of the people of Israel—have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree. “ – Romans 11:17
Since you have been grafted into Christ the fullness of Christ has been deposited inside you and the Holy Spirit resides in you.
That is an amazing truth to take in. The life of Christ, his spirit is now the power which flows in your veins. You now draw your life from His roots, you draw from His life. His infinite roots are established in eternity, intertwined in the plans and purposes of the Father, filled with the power of heaven, alive with divine glory and are secured in the will of the God.
Life now becomes a realisation of all that you are. As the life of Christ flows inside you, your heart finds its anchor in the foundations of the divine influence of God. This amazing deep bond brings an eternal perspective to your life. Little by little it dawns on you that no effort, no work, no selfless acts can make you any closer to Christ, you just receive because he abides in you.
I know from personal experience how amazing it is when I realised that it was not up to me to abide in Christ, because he had already taken up permanent residence in me. I remained in him because he remained in me. And unlike all other relationships, this was eternal; it would last through the limitless, boundless ages of time.
Having his life poured into us means that we are united into the glory of God and as we delight, acknowledge, revel in his presence his power ignites our souls and burns away all the stubble of the world that tries to weigh us down.
The wonderful thing is that this is effortless, because he has aligned us to heaven and devoted himself to our fulfilment and joy. He has placed a banquet inside us and has invited us to join in with the party.
You are never the same again, when you discover that you have been rooted and grounded through Christ into the eternal destiny of God.
“They are abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house, and You give them drink from the river of Your pleasures. “– Psalm 36:8
Satisfaction has a bad rap, “Satisfaction leads to passivity, and satisfaction stops us from pursuing God. We need to be hungry, we need to be passionate, and we need to press in to God.” Is often the song sung from the enthusiasm of the good intentioned.
Yet satisfaction is one of the most precious truths of the gospel. Satisfaction is an amazing, wonderful contentment in Christ, in a fraught, ever encroaching maelstrom world of constant distraction. As sons of our heavenly father it is vitally important that we enter into and experience the satisfaction of God.
For God is satisfied with the sacrifice of the son for your sins. God is not mad at you, at odds with you, against you or judging you. He is satisfied with the work Jesus did to take away your sins, and he was the one who sent Jesus in the first place, because he loved you and was on your side and wanted to wash away all your sin and the ruin they caused in your life.
God’s satisfaction is so ultimately complete that for you there is no condemnation or guilt in Christ. God loves you and accepts you and the work of Christ is effective on your behalf. God is totally satisfied with Jesus work, and there is peace between you and God.
Satisfaction in Christ’s finished work is essential. What we believe about God’s satisfaction of Christ will be the measure of how we see and live our new life in Christ. Bizarrely, hunger need not be an alternative option to satisfaction, a healthy inward desire to know and experience in deeper levels all that we already have in Christ, produces an intimate love for our father and all he has accomplished on our behalf.
Let satisfaction empower you, to depths of love and oceans of assurance. As you experience God’s satisfaction of Christ and his satisfaction of you, fears, insecurities start to fade in the glory of the vastness of the all encompassing greatness of the cross.
Let satisfaction lead you into fields of overflowing provision, lands of lavish abundance, where you can view the vast expanse of the unconditional love of God and live in the abundant glory of his grace through the satisfaction of Christ’s infinite sacrifice.
