Living Grace

Christ in me, the hope of glory

Love

Love – By receiving grace the unconditional, limitless love of God has been birthed into your heart. For this love that has been planted in your heart is an intimacy beyond your wildest imagination. It is a reflection of the love that upholds the universe, it is a love birthed in infinite desire and consumed in intimate delight. It is the perfect love in the perfect relationship of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

It is a love that longs to be shared and enjoyed. Boundless in its nature, relentless in its giving, fathomless in its appreciation, and bottomless in its dedication.

It is a love that bears all things, believes all things, endures all thing,s and is totally and utterly faithful.

It is a love that goes beyond doubt and failure and is captured in tiny glimpses in times of uttermost despair and disappointment.

It is God’s overwhelming love, his overflowing compassion that works through his grace.

And this love unites us into a romance of discovery, a love so immense, so intense, so fierce that it refuses to let failure, doubt, and fear stand in its way.

A New Heart

A New Heart – By receiving grace God has totally re-created your heart in Christ. You are a New Creation in Christ and you have been given a new heart with new creation soil and new creation God birthed faith and beliefs. The tree of righteousness and the fruit of the Spirit have been planted and grow inside you.

As Max Lucado writes in his book “Grace” –“Grace is God as heart surgeon, cracking open your chest, removing your heart—poisoned as it is with pride and pain—and replacing it with his own. Rather than tell you to change, he creates the change.”

Your relationship with God is birthed in your spirit and He has already transformed your heart. God now speaks directly into your heart which is your “core belief system” and how you look after your heart is now up to you. Nourish, nurture, and protect your heart and you will experience and enjoy greater depths of God’s love and his voice in your life.

In order to let the Holy Spirit work in us it is important that we tend our hearts as a gardener would tend a garden. It is a work of effortless grace, a work of rest, a work that flows from the Holy Spirit. It is a work that encourages us to be led by the Spirit He exchanged the old heart for a new heart and Christ dwells in our hearts by faith A new heart, a new spirit, and God’s Spirit – that’s what we get in the new covenant.

Adoption

Adoption – by receiving grace God has adopted me into His family. Adoption is an amazing thing. It is even amazing in human terms. When a couple chooses to adopt a child, that child becomes theirs and they become the parents in every sense of the word. Birth certificates can be changed so that the birth parents are replaced by the adoptive parents. Names are changed to reflect the new parentage.

Our adoption in Christ means that we have been accepted into the family of Jesus, the Beloved, and that His family lasts forever. A miracle takes place and our very nature is changed, our DNA is recreated in our spirit so we now have the life of our adopted family living inside of us.

The Creator God of the universe is my Daddy. The Holy One is my Father. The eternal majestic, magnificent King is my Dad. Through adoption I now have had all ties severed from my old father I inherited in Adam and have now become the property of my heavenly Father as an heir and joint heir with Jesus. I have His authority; I have his Royal blood in me. All His riches are mine, all his inheritance I now share, I wear the Gold Royal ring on my finger, and I am clothed in the Royal robes of righteousness.

My Father is always there for me. When I am afraid He will hold me close and walk through the darkness he is there with me. When I hurt I can sit up onto His lap for comfort and protection. I do have a Dad who can sort it all out. What a joy to be able to call on Him and know His loving embrace inside me.

Union

Union – By receiving grace our New Creation spirit has been fully united with Christ so that means that you are united with Christ in His death, in His burial, in His resurrection, His ascension, and in His seating on the throne.

Everything that happened to Jesus also happened to you! The good thing about it is that when He hung on the Cross, you were united with Him in that – but you didn’t have to go through it! He hung there for us – He took all our sins and sickness for us and the full weight of the wrath of God, the full fire of the judgment and punishment and wrath of God was poured out fully upon Jesus and He died for your sins! Thank God we didn’t have to face that judgment! Jesus faced that for us so we will never have to face that.

True Christianity is a union of Christ with the life of a believer, a real participation of the divine nature, the very image of God drawn and planted in us, it is Christ formed in us. Christ has become our life, our very existence, the presence of the life-giving Son of God in union with us. This union is genuine and living.

Fullness

Fullness – by responding yes to grace we have received Christ fullness. This is confirmed in the gospel of John 1:16: “For of his fullness have we all received, and grace upon grace.”

What is that fullness? It is what Jesus is in Himself. That is what made Him what He is.

When you received Eternal Life in Christ you received the very thing that makes Jesus what He is. You received of the Father His very Nature; so if you have received into your spirit that which makes God what He is, you are like Him.

This fullness is His power, His love, His kindness, His tenderness, His peace, His faith, and His joy. There is now in you fullness at all times. There is fullness of blessings of every sort and shape. The fullness of abundance for you to receive and explore. A fullness of who Christ is that lives in you. You can say, “I am what He says I am.” He has said that you are His child, and you are what He says you are. (1 John 3:2.)

Joy

Joy – The life of Christ now alive in you, has been given to you and now your heart is filled with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory. The Holy Spirit has placed the joy of heaven in you. His fruit in you means that you have an abundance of joy and your fruitfulness with burst inside you with Joy. Now by grace the incredible Joy of heaven has been given to you.

Jesus’ joy is made full in us; our joy is made full in Him. This is one of the sweetest, most beautiful things Jesus ever prayed for us. The believer should never allow anything to rob him of his joy. The conquering power of the Church is not just knowledge of the miraculous, but joy. A joyful people of Christ is an attractive people of Christ. A joyful believer is attractive.

Peter says in 1 Peter 1:8, “You love him passionately although you have not seen him, but through believing in him you are saturated with an ecstatic joy, indescribably sublime and immersed in glory.”

In Philippians 4:1, Paul says to them, “My dear and precious friends, whom I deeply love, you have truly become my glorious joy and crown of reward. Now arise in the fullness of your union with our Lord.”

In 2 Corinthians 2:14, “Thanks be unto God, who always leadeth us in triumph in Christ.”

It is that triumphant, joyful spirit that is now inside our hearts. It is not something we seek and look for; it is not something we wait or expect. It has been given to us, Joy resides in us, and we can draw on it every moment of life.

New Birth

New Birth – By responding yes to Grace I have been born a completely New Man. I have come out of the womb of God. I am born of God. I am a New Creation created in Christ Jesus. As soon as I am Born Again, Recreated, and became a New Creation, I became indwelt by the great mighty Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead.

This means I have been born out of Adam’s family into God’s family. I am as much a child of the Father as was Jesus during His earth walk. I have the nature of the Father, I have the love that dominated the life of Christ, and I have the wisdom of God in Christ. He is now the strength of my life. He has given to me His own ability. I have a legal right to the use of the Name of Jesus, and all authority in Heaven and on earth is in that Name.

New Life

New Life – By responding yes to grace, we have become partakers of the Divine Nature, and our past has stopped being, our past is actually dead, as it died and was buried with Christ. We are New Creation people. In the first creation, in the Garden of Eden, it took six days to make the first creation. It took three days and three nights to perfect the New Creation. Everything in that first creation was the work of God. Everything in this New Creation is of God, man had no part in it . . . only that he accepts, receives, and lives in it.

We have been born of God by the Spirit. We have been born into the Family of God. We have received remission of everything that we ever did in our past lives. We have been made New Creations, created in Christ Jesus.

It is our spirit, our real self, the heart of our true self, that has been recreated. We have become a New Spirit, a New Self, a New Creation. This is far beyond forgiveness of sins. This is the complete death of our Old Man inherited from Adam and a New Life of Christ birthed into us from the incorruptible seed of Christ. The Bible declares, “Wherefore if any man is in Christ, there is a New Creation, the old things have passed away, Behold, they have become new.” Did you notice that strange word, “Behold”? That is an exclamation of surprise and wonder. New life has happened in us.

God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense

God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense means that Jesus through his perfect finished work of grace has given to us all things. Everything we need for life and godliness is in Christ and Christ is in us. We have now become partakers of the divine nature.

Grace gives us – new life, new birth, joy, fullness, union, adoption, A new heart, A new spirit, presence, A new nature, righteousness, love, faith, A sound mind, strength, holiness, blessings, power, authority, inheritance, worth, transformation, qualifications, anointing, belonging, acceptance, freedom, peace, security, gratitude, protection, relationship, light, intimacy, healing, wholeness, satisfaction, access, confidence, courage, redemption, boldness, liberty, hope, expectancy, kindness, delight, desire, remission, forgiveness and every promise of God.

Christ came to give us all He is. Not just all He was, but all He now is! Not in the world to come, not in the sweet by-and-by somewhere in the sky but right here, right now.
