Don’t Limit the Grace of God

Don’t limit the grace of God. His goodness is beyond measure and his deliverance is relentless. It is a flowing ever increasing river of strength and protection. It is God’s fierce intention to see you flourish in every part and thought of your life.

The Tide is Turning

For someone today

The tide is turning. You have felt that you have been swimming against the tide. You have been feeling battered, bruised and weary of the struggle in your soul and emotions.

But today the word is that nothing is lost but it is all gain.

God has recaptured you. He is the power alive within you. All the resources of heaven are alive inside you. You are a joint heir with Christ.

God is opening you eyes so you can see clearly who you are and what he has done. He is opening up your eyes to the knowledge that you are perfect in Him.

He has turned your struggles into your gain.

Let songs and words of praise rise from within you and focus your mind to receive the favour of God. His goodness is there ready for you to receive.

The tide is turning nothing is lost but all is there in Christ for your gain.

God is opening up the curtains.

For someone today:

God is opening up the curtains that have been closed over his grace.
He is drawing back the curtains over your mind that have kept you in the darkness.
It is time to come out of the shadows and let the light flood in.
The curtains of unbelief, doubt, fear and wrong focus have been slowly closing as the influences and words of the world have closed your mind to light of God.
It is time to draw them back and let the radiance of Christ fill your heart.
And God will fill you with his love, joy and peace and your heart will be at rest.

Today know that he can do exceedingly, abundantly above all you can ask or think according to the power that works within you.

Don’t look to the right or the left but look to Christ within you.

The curtains that have kept your mind captive are being drawn back and this is a new day of God’s grace. His light wants to flood into your life. Let him do it, let him open up your heart and let his light shine over every circumstance and situation you are facing.

“I am the spring crocus blooming on the Sharon Plain, the lily of the valley” – Song of songs 2:1

You were reborn into a time of innocence.

You were reborn into the goodness of God into a New Creation devoid of evil. For where there is the light of God darkness has to be extinguished. Light and darkness do not share the same space.

It is the revelation that you now in Christ, you are Holy and righteous in your Spirit and the former darkness that invaded your thinking, your desires and your actions has been eradicated by your new birth into the fulness of God.

Our past, our sin tainted nature died with Christ.

And just as the spring crocus takes root and flourishes in the rich phase of a new season, we receive the purity and innocence of new life.

For within us even before we believed and were made new there was calling that believed in a place of joy, an existence of bliss. That we we created to be part of an eternal dance of love.

Today you have in Christ been reconciled back into the arms of your Father and the love your heart cried out has been placed into your new innocent heart.

A Resurrected Life

“How lovely are your cheeks, your earrings set them on fire, how lovely is your neck, enhanced by a string of jewels. ” Song of songs 1:10

This morning I took a stroll through the local Church cemetery on the way to catching a bus for work. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the Church clock slowly moved as every second passed and restlessly time moved on as I passed by ancient grave after ancient grave. Some of the residents of the cemetery had laid there for hundreds of years. Since they took their plot Kings and Queens had come and gone, America had been discovered, World Wars had been fought, Man had been to the Moon and back and ‘I’ phones had been invented. But each of these residents were totally and utterly unaware of any of this because they died years before it happened.

Paul in his letter to the Galatians tried to convey the truth of new believers new life in Christ by declaring that we were crucified with Christ and have been raised to new life in Christ.

But why did he do this? Why did he emphasise the fact that In Christ we are now a new creation?

We are born into a world that focuses our attention, our thoughts, a world that captivates us with what we wear, what we drink and with what we eat. A world which turns our hearts to worship the things we want, the things we can possess and the things that give us value.

In this deluge of self satisfaction our hearts can be swayed to seek after all manner of other God’s and we can feel the weight of condemnation and guilt building up inside as it seems that we have strayed from the wonder and beauty of the new life birthed in us.

But this is just a wrong perspective of our new life. Instead of looking at the influence of the world on our hearts we need to live from the truth of our new life.

So how do we do this?

By realising the we have died to our old nature. That although things and influences are happening all around us we are in fact a totally different species, we are part of heaven, we have the glory of God within us

The more we let the truth of our new creation infiltrate, permeate and consume our thoughts and emotions the more the influences of the world diminish.

It is here in the realm of the heart that as we let go of false desires and false God’s that we release ourselves from all condemnation. In fact we are already released all we do is bring our soul back in line with our New Creation Spirit.

Dead people have no problems with the influences that would try to capture their hearts and drag them back into a life of fear, worry and doubt.

Resurrected people live from their new nature free from the old man, it’s influences and it’s desires. Their desires are now centered from the Glory that resides and transforms them effortlessly.

Today know that you are dead to sin, dead to your old man and you are alive and victorious in the power of the Resurrection within you.

You Are A New Creation

For someone today:-

There is nothing to repair with you.
You are not in need of repair and maintenance
You are not dilapidated
You are a new creation in Christ.
The old has been demolished and a New glorious building has been erected.
And he who has created a good work in you will transform your thinking revealing to you that he is bringing everything into glorious completion.

You are not a work in progress, you are a new creation.
You are not a sinner saved by grace, you are a new creation.
You are not prodigal coming home, you are a new creation.
You are not a lump of clay, you are a new creation.
You are not a slave to the law, you are a new creation.
You are not in the wilderness, you are a new creation.
You do not need to be repaired, you are a new creation.

The Glory of God is being revealed in you and you are in constant transformation from one degree of glory into another degree of Glory.

You do not need to be repaired, you are new creation in Christ.

Road Signs

For someone today:-

Road signs
Words spoken and placed over your life have become a road sign
Opinions expressed over you have become your road sign
The influence of others has become the limit of the road sign over you.
Today God has removed the road sign.
God has set you free from the restrictions of others over your life
So don’t go looking for the road sign of restriction.
Don’t anticipate that restriction
Don’t remember the restriction
God has set you free to soar into all God has given you.

Readjust your settings, for although God has removed the road sign it might take you time to adjust to start to live in the freedom.
But as you adjust to the truth your experience will start to live in the truth of what has happened.
Let the truth of God flood your life
Let the Holy Spirit work in you
Open your heart to all God has given you

God has removed those restrictions that were stopping you to move forward.
His opinion of you is the only true opinion.
He is your truth, your way and your life.

The Glory of God

“You are as exciting, my darling, as a mare among Pharaoh’s chariot horses. ” Song of songs 1:9

The glory of God cannot be extinguished.

Before the foundations of the world the plan and purpose of God was to radiate his glory through his creation. The pinnacle of his creation was you and the pinnacle of Christ was his death and resurrection that reconciled you into the New Covenant.

In Christ you are now a new creation.

Your heart was created to live in the glory of God.

Solomon captures in this verse the trap of the world that entices us. The constant temptation to identify with Pharaoh and let the influence of others gain control over our mind and slowly extinguish the glory of our creation.

John saw how this influence affected the heart of the believer. In 1 John he finishes his letter by encouraging us to put away all idols, that would rise up and draw us away from the freedom and living union we have in Christ. It is not that Christ leaves us, it is not that Christ draws away or hides or is silent. It is that we start to fill our hearts with other things and these things become our idols.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made and the glory of God is the deliverance that has set your heart free to enjoy the delight of heaven, don’t let your experience of God be diluted and diminished by filling your heart with idols.

For whoever the Son sets free is eternally free.

Cemented in Christ – 13th July

For someone today:-

God has placed you for a specific time and a specific purpose
Let God open up the doors you need
Let God open up the path for you
Just as a brick is placed into a wall
You have been placed to make the wall strong and make you strong
Don’t be afraid of the disappointments that you feel they are tuning your heart to deeper depths of embracing Gods love for there is a time arriving that you will be filled with unreasonable joy.
Joy is in you, joy is bubbling up inside you and those disappointments are not the focus of your value and acceptance to God.

Go outside and take a look at a wall, look at a brick in the wall. See how secure it is . Each brick is cemented and strong in the wall.
Today you are secure in Christ
You are cemented into Christ
You are cemented into the grace of God
You are held and safe.
You have been made strong able to stand against the storms of life.

Today see yourself as strong
See yourself alive to Christ.
Your disappointments are being turned into a highway of joy.
